Reading Response-Week 4

The literacy narrative that I wrote was about the Great Flood of 2016. I wrote of an experience I had with my mom and our neighbor. We rescued our neighbor's two dogs in her house across the street. The experience was unlike anything I had ever gone through. That experience made me realize how lucky I really am to have what I have. So many people out there are suffering and are without their homes. I am so lucky to be where I am and to have what I have.
