9/11

One sunny day in September 2001, Al Qaeda planted terrorist on three passenger planes. They carried out suicide attacks on The World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C.. This killed everyone aboard and about 3,000 people on the ground from both attacks, including over 400 police officers.

After the passengers and the crew gave an effort to take back control from the terrorists, they crashed into a Pennsylvanian field which killed everyone on board. Often referred to as 9/11, the attacks resulted in extensive destruction and death, which triggered major U.S. initiatives to fight terrorism and defining the presidency of George W. Bush.
