Writing Center Appointment

When I went to the writing center I went during a tutorial session which was my mistake because we didn't have that much time to work on what I needed help with, but luckily I had my tutor to help. We went over what I had already done, but by the time we finished it was time to go already. There was no real "help" that occurred. My writing fellow did barely anything to help me due to distraction in the room.

If we were to continue to work on my paper I would want to go over my supporting points and the subsections of them. I would have also liked to go over my attention to detail throughout my draft. I hope that next semester's appointment is more helpful and helps me improve my overall draft. When I go next time I may have to choose a class period rather than a tutorial session for a more effective session. For now I will continue to work with my tutor and hope for the best.

Trevor's Prompt

If all the currency in the world was cookies, I think there would be a lot of controversy throughout the government and the people. One reason why is because anyone could eat the currency which would totally demolish the overall effectiveness of this currency. I think there would be a huge increase in the obesity rate everywhere from the temptation to eat the currency. The system of currency would totally collapse from the change to cookies and we would need to find a sufficient replacement. Then again, why would the world ever think about changing the currency at all when it is an efficient and working system today?

If the currency remained as cookies we would need a sort of refrigeration system instead of a bank to keep all of the currency valued. We would need these all over the world in almost every city which would be a hassle. Thieves would most likely be in it for the fact that they're cookies and not for something that was used to buy things. While the cookies were transported we would need a system to keep them fresh. I don't really understand why anyone would want to do this because it seems so dangerous and ineffective.

Jett - Exam Studying

With exams coming soon and thoughts of failure, my main concern is studying the right amount and managing my time well. With the already existing stress of everyday school life, I just hope that I can pull together a great exam season. While exams are very real and a very serious topic, I need to equally distribute my focus onto studying and my other school work. I must take notice to every detail of the upcoming exams to perform to the best of my ability. I hope to gather some friends and study as a group.

I am not sure if I work best by myself or in a small group, but I will find out soon. I am going to try and meet with my teachers and see what they suggest I focus most of my attention on. The real studying will begin when I get the exam study guides from the teachers. With my notes in hand, I will do my best to fill out the study guides. Hopefully, I will do well on exam day.

Literary Analysis

In my literary analysis, I've found that one of my main issues is the amount of information I have in it so far. I'd like to have well over three pages but it has become a problem. When I first started writing my draft I found it difficult to get all of my information into smooth paragraphs. Hopefully, with a little help, I can polish and fix my mistakes to make a great draft. I need to do a lot of refining and rethinking to make it great.

I also am having trouble with my conclusion. I know the ending has to leave the reader with something to think about so I'm a little worried. I'm trying tom use the book to help me find good ways to end it.
